Richard Froude is from Bristol, England. He is the Managing Editor of Ellipsis magazine at Wayward Couch Press. He also compiles and publishes the free poetry journal Clark Kent and is a member of Pop Seance with Jesse Morse, Ryan Newton, and Erik Anderson. He is the author of Tarnished Mirrors: Translations of Charles Baudelaire (Muffled Cry, 2004) and the collaborative screenplay with Stacy Elaine Dacheux: The Lie (And How We Told It). He is currently translating selections form Rilke's Book of Hours for a text book on religious and occult poetry. Beginning in April 2006, his fiction column Seeing Dead People appears monthly at the American Drivel Review. He lives in Portland, Oregon.
