Maureen Foley is a painter, writer, and freelance journalist who grew up on an avocado ranch in Southern California. Her writing has appeared in Santa Barbara Magazine, Wired, New York Times, New York Post and Bombay Gin. Her art has been exhibited in galleries in San Francisco, Boulder, and Santa Barbara. She received her MFA in Prose from Naropa University. Currently, she teaches art to children in San Diego and she is searching for an agent.
